Good-Cloud Season

March 27, 2018  •  1 Comment

We're approaching the end of Good-Cloud Season here in San Diego.  In another few weeks it'll be clear blue skies from dawn till dusk.  Hard to imagine but many people love No-Cloud Season and flock to our fair city to escape their own Good-Cloud Seasons.  I may have captured the season's final wisps last week when we took a quick hike out in the Ramona Grasslands to look for birds, nice landscape compositions, and clouds.  I regret not taking the ND filters and doing some long exposure work while the clouds are in season.  Perhaps I'll still have a chance before the humdrum of blue dominates the skies. I'm a cloud admirer and have for many years. They are a constant change and our Colorado skies are perfect for my passion. Having said that I'm still a lover of the humdrum blue skies. So, show a few of those and I'll be a happy camper.
